Authority Magazine recently interviewed our CEO, Pelu Tran. Given his healthcare background, he’s the perfect person to address ways to improve the US healthcare system.
Looking at the impact of the pandemic on healthcare, Pelu noted, “over half of all deaths that are going to occur in the coming months and years in the US are going to be from patients that never suffered from the virus. It’s going to be patients that simply missed screenings, missed their heart checkups and missed “regular” care. It’s possible that as many people are going to die from the missed care that occurred during COVID.”
This begs the question, what can we as a healthcare community do to reverse this trend of missed care?
