Gratitude for the Benefits of AI in Healthcare and Our Everyday Life

This week’s Domain Knowledge is a little bit different; the Ferrum Team is thankful for the opportunity to be part of the growing healthcare AI ecosystem. The Ferrum Team is grateful for the trust placed in us by our clinical partners, and we look forward to new advancements that will benefit both patients and those providing care. We help health systems and radiology practices remove the barriers to using healthcare AI, allowing providers to focus on their patients and the care they need.

Clinical AI tools benefit patients across a variety of therapeutic areas. We have clinical partners using AI applications in the early detection of cancer, to identify fractures on imaging studies, and to aid in the diagnosis of trauma complications such as pneumothorax. Our AI Partner case studies highlight different AI solutions being used by our clinical partners.

As many of us prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, we thought it would be fun to look at the benefits of AI in our everyday life. Recently, the team got together for our annual tradition of sharing what we’re most grateful for; the work we do with our clinical partners was by far the winner. Our conversation inevitably turned to the Thanksgiving Day feast and who would be cooking a turkey for their family and who got off easy with just making sides. Being an AI company, we started exploring ways artificial intelligence can support Thanksgiving dinner. Here’s what we found!

Researchers are using artificial intelligence to create recipes, complete with beautiful photos and foodie backstories. But will it work for Thanksgiving dinner? Staff from the New York Times decided to give it a try. Can A.I. Write Recipes Better Than Humans? We Put It to the Ultimate Test. gives you the details of their experiment and the outcome.

The team at the New York Times was busy yet again, asking A.I. Wrote These Thanksgiving Recipes. Would You Make Them? The results might surprise you. I think I might try the stuffing recipe.

Want to see Priya Krishna from the New York Times in action, cooking AI-generated Thanksgiving recipes? You can catch her and the taste testers enjoying Pumpkin Spice Chaat, Naan Stuffing, Roast Turkey with Soy-Ginger Glaze, plus a few more dishes.

No Thanksgiving meal is complete without interesting conversation topics. We all know religion and politics can be controversial, so coming armed with some preplanned topics can be helpful. Being an AI company with thought this topic would be perfect for us, Need a New Topic for Thanksgiving Dinner? How to Explain Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Anyone…and Make it Fun!

Exploring the use of AI in planning our Thanksgiving dinner gave us all a good laugh and again highlighted how grateful we are to be supporting our clinical partners with healthcare AI solutions.

The Ferrum Team wishes everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
